AWS

AWS is one of the two clouds we build production infrastructure on. Its depth of services, global reach, and maturity make it a dependable foundation for everything from a startup MVP to a regulated enterprise platform.

Amazon Web Services is the most comprehensive cloud platform available, with mature services for compute, storage, databases, networking, and nearly every specialised need a product could have. That breadth means whatever your application requires, there's a proven, well-supported AWS service for it.

We build on AWS with an infrastructure-as-code discipline, so your entire environment is defined in version-controlled Terraform rather than clicked together by hand. That makes it reproducible, reviewable, and recoverable — the difference between infrastructure you can trust and a fragile setup nobody fully understands.

How we architect on AWS

We design AWS architectures around your actual requirements rather than a one-size template — choosing between containers on ECS or Fargate, serverless with Lambda, or managed platforms depending on your workload, team, and budget. The aim is the simplest architecture that meets your needs for scale, reliability, and cost.

Everything is defined as code in Terraform, deployed through CI/CD pipelines, and observable through metrics, logs, and traces. That means environments are consistent from development to production, changes are reviewed before they ship, and problems are visible before your users feel them.

Security, compliance, and reliability

AWS provides the building blocks for serious security and compliance — fine-grained IAM permissions, network isolation with VPCs, encryption at rest and in transit, and audit logging — and we configure them properly rather than leaving defaults wide open. For regulated industries like healthcare and finance, this rigor is essential, and AWS supports the necessary compliance frameworks.

We architect for reliability with the failure modes in mind: multi-AZ deployments, automated backups, sensible autoscaling, and tested recovery procedures. The goal is infrastructure that stays up and recovers gracefully, not one that works until the first unexpected event.

Managing cost on AWS

AWS's flexibility can become an expensive sprawl if left unmanaged, so we treat cost as a design concern. Right-sizing resources, autoscaling to actual demand, cleaning up idle infrastructure, and choosing the appropriate pricing models are all part of how we build — and a common early win when we take over an existing account.

We also help you decide honestly between AWS and alternatives. AWS is the right choice for depth, scale, and compliance; for simpler apps a platform like Vercel may be faster and cheaper. We recommend the fit for your stage rather than defaulting to the biggest option.

What you get

Depth for any workload

The broadest set of mature cloud services, from simple apps to regulated enterprise platforms.

Infrastructure as code

Your whole environment in Terraform — reproducible, reviewable, and recoverable.

Secure and cost-aware

Proper IAM, encryption, and compliance, with cost managed as a design concern.

How we work

  1. 01

    Discover

We pressure-test the idea, map the users, and define the smallest thing worth building. You leave with a plan, not a proposal.

  2. 02

    Design

Flows, prototypes, and a design system that makes the product feel real before a line of production code ships.

  3. 03

    Build

Weekly releases in your stack. You see working software every Friday and steer with real feedback, not guesses.

  4. 04

    Scale

We harden, instrument, and document the system — then hand off cleanly, or stay embedded. It runs without us.

Frequently asked questions

AWS or GCP — which should we use?

Both are excellent. AWS has the broadest service depth and enterprise/compliance maturity; GCP is strong on data and Kubernetes. We recommend based on your stack, team, and needs.

Is AWS overkill for a startup?

Not necessarily — but for a simple app a platform like Vercel can be faster and cheaper. We match the infrastructure to your stage and scale it up only as you need it.

Can you help reduce our AWS bill?

Yes — right-sizing, autoscaling, and cutting idle resources are common early wins. We treat cost as a design concern, not an afterthought.

Is AWS suitable for healthcare or finance?

Yes — AWS supports the security controls and compliance frameworks regulated industries need. We configure IAM, encryption, network isolation, and auditing properly rather than relying on defaults.
